Well, in my opinion, a pet shouldn't be able to kill you if the mood strikes them. That doesn't make them a pet. That makes them a dangerous animal that you're keeping locked up. No everyone shares my feeling on this, like in the story today... a Florida couple had a "pet" named Gypsy. A python.
