In the case we’re discussing today, if you’re searching for a motive… you're going to be out of luck. The killer never gave a reason. It’s a murder that just… happened. Thomas Starr, lived at home with his mother Lisa Fry and step-father Jeffrey Westfall, in Southington Ohio. On a Saturday night in June of 2013, Thomas stabbed his step-father in the neck with a knife. He then stabbed his mother in the neck, before running off deep into the woods near the home. His mother, still alive, but weak and bloody, managed to crawl out to the road and flag down a passerby, and they called 911 to get her some help. While that was happening, Thomas, from the woods, called 911 himself and had an interesting conversation with the operators.
